What data is collected and for what purpose

Technical data when using the website (access logs)

Each time the website is accessed, the server may store data necessary for service delivery and security, in particular: IP address, date and time of access, browser and operating system information, and possibly the referring page address (referrer).

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — ensuring website operation, detecting abuse, and technical optimization.

Retention period: only as long as necessary (usually from a few days to a few weeks), unless legal retention obligations apply.

Email contact

If you contact us via the email address provided on the website, we process the data you provide (e.g., email address, name, message content) solely to respond and, if necessary, continue correspondence.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention period: until correspondence is completed and, where applicable, for periods required by law (e.g., claims, archival obligations), after which data is deleted.

Cookies

The website does not use cookies or similar tracking mechanisms requiring your consent. If only technically necessary measures are used (e.g., strictly necessary for website operation), consent is not required under TTDSG / GDPR; any such use serves solely to ensure service functionality.

If analytical, marketing, or other consent-based cookies are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated and consent will be collected before such cookies are set.

Data recipients

Data may be made available to the hosting service provider (website technical infrastructure), who may access technical data (e.g., IP addresses) within commissioned processing.

The website may currently be delivered using cloud services (e.g., Google Cloud); in such cases, the provider may process data outside the EEA. Transfers to third countries are carried out only based on appropriate GDPR safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions).

We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

Data subject rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access (Art. 15 GDPR) — the right to obtain information on whether your data is being processed and to receive a copy.
  • Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) — the right to request correction of inaccurate data or completion of incomplete data.

  • Objection (Art. 21 GDPR) — the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
  • Withdraw consent If processing is based on consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), you may withdraw it at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal.
  • Right to lodge a complaint You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority:
